This course will provide an overview of the Financial Management Bureau (Vendor Relations) at DFA to include suppliers, W9s, 1099s, fraud and fraud avoidance, warrant cancellations, ACH returns, the Distribution Center and Withholding/Tax implications of all State transactions.
DFA will hold a hearing to repeal and replace 2.20.2 NMAC, Execution of Contracts, Vouchers, Purchase Orders and Other Financial Commitments. Pursuant to Subsection E of 9-1-5 and 9-6-5 NMSA 1978, DFA promulgates these rules to administer the duties of the Department and its divisions. Further legal authority for this rulemaking can be found in the State Rules Act, Section 14-4-1 et seq. NMSA 1978

This course will provide a basic introduction to the procurement card program for the State of New Mexico as well as explain processing procedures, rules governing purchases, procurement code as it relates to p-card usage, post audit requirements and a short tutorial on navigating the Bank of America Works online system
This course will cover all aspects of the Travel & Per Diem act as it relates to state agencies and DFA processing.
This course will provide a basic overview of the procurement code as it relates to state agency purchasing and review by DFA. Please note, this course will not cover RFP/ITB processing standards. The course will also provide a virtual tutorial on creating basic requisitions, purchase orders and payment vouchers in SHARE. Finally, the course will provide general guidance on closing requisitions, purchase orders and contracts.

This class will provide a short tutorial on navigating the Query Viewer Module and running basic queries in SHARE. The basic queries will be related to purchasing and will include accounts payable, purchase orders, requisitions and outstanding checks.
