Draft 2024 New Mexico Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report
New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (Housing New Mexico | MFA)(“Housing New Mexico”) and the Department of Finance and Administration, Local Government Division (DFA) are seeking public comment on the DRAFT State of New Mexico 2024 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires reporting on activities completed during the program year using the state’s formula funding allocations. Federal funding includes the following programs: HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) and Housing Trust Fund (HTF). HOME, ESG, HOPWA and HTF programs are administered by MFA and CDBG program is administered by DFA.
On September 3, 2025, a copy of the draft 2024 CAPER will be available on MFA’s web page at https://housingnm.org/resources/plans-and-reports/caper and DFA’s web page at
https://www.nmdfa.state.nm.us/infrastructure-planning-and-development-division/new-mexico-action-plan. If you are unable to download the CAPER, please contact Housing New Mexico to request a copy (505-843-6880 or toll free 1-800-444-6880). If you are an individual with a disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid or service, please contact Shannon Tilseth (contact information below). The draft 2024 CAPER may be provided in alternative accessible formats (i.e., Braille/large print, audio tape) and may also be translated into Spanish for limited English proficient (LEP) Spanish speaking persons upon request. Citizens, interested agencies, and for-profit and non-profit organizations may either attend the hybrid virtual public hearing via webcast or attend in person on September 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. To join the webcast go to Housingnm.org, “Meetings, Notices & Webcasts, Public Meetings & Notices”. The Public Hearing will also be at Housing New Mexico | MFA located at: 7425 Jefferson Street NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Citizens and interested agencies may provide comments during a fifteen-day public comment period, beginning September 3rd, 2025, and ending at 5:00 p.m. MST, September 18, 2025. Department of Finance and Administration, Local Government Division (DFA) and the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA) are seeking public comment on the proposed drafting of homelessness assistance template to include an Amendment to State of New Mexico 2021 Annual Action Plan. The public comment period will begin on February 15, 2022, and end on March 16, 2022. A hybrid virtual and in-person public hearing will be held on March 9, 2022, at 8 a.m.
Notice of Virtual Public Hearing: 2020 Consolidated Plan Substantial Amendment (CDBG-NSP City of Albuquerque)
The New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA) and the Department of Finance and Administration, Local Government Division (DFA) are seeking public comment on the DRAFT Amended State of New Mexico 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020 Annual Action Plan. This 30 day public comment period is to incorporate an addition to Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Neighborhood Stabilization funds transferred to City of Albuquerque for programming activity. The public comment period will begin on March 28, 2022 and end on April 28, 2022, with a hybrid virtual and in person public hearing on the draft will be held on April 27, 2022 at 9 a.m.
Citizens, interested agencies, and for-profit and nonprofit organizations may attend a hybrid virtual and in person public hearing on April 27, 2022 at 9 a.m. via webcast at https://housingnm.org/meetings-events-notices or in person at MFA’s office to provide comments.
