Currently the Acting Director of the State Budget Division, Cinthia was previously the division’s deputy director, and has been with the division for close to a decade.

Andrew Baranowski comes to us from Albuquerque law firm of Sutin, Thayer & Browne, where his practice included public entity law, public finance, state taxation, and general corporate law. His experience helping public entities navigate complex issues, analyzing legislation, and developing creative legal solutions will serve him well in his new role at DFA.

Ashley is the Director of the New Mexico Board of Finance. She has been with DFA since January 2019 and was previously with the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions for nine years as an economist. Ashley received her MA in Economics from The Ohio State University and BA in Economics from the University of New Mexico.

Eric Chenier

Eric Chenier comes to DFA from the Department of Health, first as Administrative Services Division Director and later as the Deputy Secretary. Previously he served seven years as an analyst at the Legislative Finance Committee, working with the Department of Health, Aging and Long-Term Services, Corrections, Public Safety, and many other state agencies, boards and commissions.
