Public Safety Workforce Capacity Building Program

The Public Safety Workforce Capacity Building Program (PSWC) supports efforts to recruit, retain, train, and strengthen New Mexico’s public safety workforce by providing resources to address workforce needs and build long-term capacity.

Eligible applicants include municipalities, counties, state agencies, and Tribal governments. Funding will support law enforcement officers, firefighters, detention and corrections officers, district attorney and public defender offices.
