Fiscal Year 2026 State Agency Budget Requests
FY26 State Agency Budget Request
The State Budget Division (SBD) of the Department of Finance and Administration is committed to promoting transparency by making Fiscal Year 2026 budget requests from state agencies available to the public.
State agencies submit budget requests to both SBD and the Legislative Finance Committee (LFC) annually, with the deadline this year being September 3, 2024. The SBD has reviewed all submissions for technical accuracy, and both executive and legislative teams will use these requests to develop budget recommendations for the 2025 Legislative Session.
Please note that budget requests from public schools and higher education institutions, which make up 55% of the state’s general fund budget, will be submitted later this fall.
